I’ve both craved deep connection and been terrified of it at the same time my whole life. Dancing between that duality has been a daily push and pull, a constant source of curiosity, confusion and learning.

It is part of my intention to Live Life Out Loud, On Purpose, Out On The Skinny Branches and Beyond. To fly with great freedom and dive deep into connections of all kinds.

In my life and in my work, I am drawn to works that explore and celebrate the human spirit and love, that reveal the stories of how people rise above the problems of life and the human condition to make change and follow their hearts.

Especially the extraordinary beauty, power and heroism that are to be found in the seemingly ordinary moments and people in life. The underdog, the ordinary, unsung heroes; the quiet, small moments that can sometimes hold a lifetime.

As a performer and as a producer, director and writer, I seek to explore stories that give voice to the people who’ve not been able to tell theirs, either because they’ve been oppressed, overlooked or just don’t know how to use their voice. To shed light on inconvenient but crucial truths. To bring the elephant in the room out of the shadows and into the light so that understanding and potential movement can occur.

It’s my mission to collaborate deeply and bravely to create stories that inspire, entertain, educate, elicit and evoke. To give voice to the voiceless and help the invisible to be seen. To wake people up so that they may embrace the duality of their lives to live life more fully, freely, deeply and authentically.
