A tiny world of experience
A blink of the eye
A split-second connection
Like breath, but different
Connects me to my innerscape
Reinforces my sense of self
In the often-overwhelm
Of being in the world
Shade
mindfulness
Speed
I’ve hurled myself through life
Pushed myself for so long that
it has always felt like normal speed
But something has stopped me of late
(My own body and spirit, I suspect)
And now I am practicing my amble
I am unraveling the ball of spin within
Going to find the real speed of me
