Stargazing

Aside ~ ~ Beyond the Skinny Branches

I was plucked from a cluster of stars

I was shot from divine skies

If you want to get to know me

Just look into my eyes

I’ve lived for thousands of years

Held court on dirtmats and on thrones

There’s moonglow in my pocket

And stardust in my bones
